DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) has been awarded a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract with NAVAIR Warfare Center Lakehurst, Aircraft Division to provide support to the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO). Entitled F-35 Joint Program Office Enterprise Planning Studies and Consulting, task orders under this BPA contract will assist in completing acquisition related studies and provide focused consulting services to improve the acquisition of the F-35 Air System and the organizational structure of the F-35 JPO. The contract carries a master ceiling of $90M and a period of performance of 5 years including options
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has awarded DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) with a $59.4M competitive contract to provide Cybersecurity Compliance and Risk Management (CCRM) under the Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisitions for a total period of performance of 5 years including options. The work under this contract will be performed in Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation’s Vice President of Analytic Technologies, Dr. James Nolan, will be giving three talks discussing DAC analytic technologies focusing on data fusion, relationship extraction, and entity disambiguation for analysts and warfighters at the 2018 Sea-Air-Space Exposition. Held on April 9th – 11th at the Gaylord National Convention Center at the National Harbor, Sea-Air-Space is the largest maritime exposition in the U.S. and serves to extend the Navy League’s mission of maritime policy education and sea service support. Dr. Nolan will be speaking on three different technologies developed by DECISIVE ANALYTICS as part of his talks starting at 4 pm on April 9th.
Alison Smith, one of DAC's employee-owners, will be giving a talk on her paper, “Closing the Loop: User-Centered Design and Evaluation of Human-in-the-Loop Topic Modeling System,” at ACM IUI 2018 in Tokyo, Japan on March 8th. Ms. Smith’s work explores human-in-the-loop modeling which allows users to guide the creation of topic models and improve model quality without having to be experts in topic modeling algorithms.
Ms. Smith will also be co-hosting a workshop on March 11th on Explainable Smart Systems (ExSS) with Brian Lim of the National University of Singapore and Simone Stumpf of City, University of London. The workshop will bring together researchers in academia and industry who have an interest in making smart systems explainable to users and therefore more intelligible and transparent.
