DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation Wins D3I Domain 2 Contract to Provide Wargame, Experimentation and Demonstration Support

DECISIVE ANALYTICS, along with its subcontractor, Rock Corporation, will support the SMDC Concept Evaluation Branch (CEB) of the Future Warfare Center’s (FWC) Concept Development and Integration Division (CDID) in evaluating emerging and future space, high altitude, and missile defense concepts and capabilities. This Task Order will be executed in both Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation Wins $41.5M USASMDC/ARSTRAT Contract to Provide Software Prototyping and Experimentation Support


We are pleased to announce we have been awarded a $41.5M competitive task order contract under Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration (D3I) Domain 2 from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT).  The contract, entitled Software Prototyping and Experimentation Support (SPES-1), has a total period of performance of 4.5 years including options and will be primarily performed in Huntsville, AL.  

DECISIVE ANALYTICS will support the USASMDC/ARSTRAT, Future Warfare Center (FWC), TRADOC Capabilities Manager, Global Ballistic Missile Defense, Prototyping and Experimentation (TCM GBMD P&E) Branch in providing quick solutions to many of the Army’s capabilities gaps in the form of software applications. Under this effort, DAC will be maintaining, sustaining, and supporting all P&E Branch’s currently established software products for their respective customers.  In addition, DAC will investigate, develop, and transition mission command prototype technology solutions, conduct mission command demonstrations as a risk mitigation strategy, and provide support for the integration of new capabilities into new and existing programs.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Employee-Owner, Peter David, to Speak in US Army TRADOC Mad Scientist Group’s Speaker Series

One of DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation’s (DAC) employee-owners, Peter David, will be presenting as part of US Army Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Mad Scientist Speaker Series. In this series, “Science Fiction vs Science Funding – Comparing What We Imagine to What We Invent,” Mr. David will be discussing the similarities and differences between the way science fiction authors imagine war in the coming decades and the way DoD research agencies are preparing for the future battlefield.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS’ Larry Burger Named to Air, Space, and Missile Defense Retired Civilian Employee Wall of Honor

Larry Burger, Technical Director of DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC), has been named to the Air, Space, and Missile Defense Retired Civilian Employee Wall of Honor. Located in the Alabama Space and Rocket Center’s Davidson Center for Space Exploration, the Wall honors former civilian members of US Army Space and Missile Defense Command, the Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space, the Missile Defense Agency, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the Missile and Space Intelligence Center.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Employee-Owner Alison Smith to Present at ACL 2017

Alison Smith, an employee-owner at DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation, is scheduled to present her paper, “Evaluating Visual Representations for Topic Understanding and Their Effects on Manually Generated Labels,” at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2017). ACL 2017, the premier conference in the field of computational linguistics, will take place in Vancouver, Canada from July 30th to August 4th. The conference focuses on poster sessions, tutorials, workshops, and demonstrations covering a broad spectrum of diverse research areas that are concerned with computational approaches to natural language.

DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation's Analytic Technologies division got much of its start thanks to the Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. In the beginning, the Air Force SBIR program funded many critical and successful technologies, allowing our engineers to develop robust algorithms and build expertise in the area of Data Fusion. The program has been vital to DECISIVE ANALYTICS. It has enabled us to bring in tremendous talent and gain the knowledge and expertise to create new products. Two DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation's employee-owners, Kevin Ward and Peter David, are giving oral presentations on their papers at the 2017 SPIE Defense + Security Conference in Anaheim, CA. The conference, held April 9-13th at the Anaheim Convention Center, focuses on sensors, imaging, and optical technologies for security, law enforcement, avionics/aerospace, defense, and military applications.
